When in Macedonia one should never forget to pay Lake Mavrovo a visit. This artificial lake is the best place to go if you want to enjoy nature and winter, since the place literally freezes because of its elevation.
But if you are not very fond of winter than you can visit the lake during summer and get the same fun and excitement with all the summer activities that you can do in the place.
